Argus HD

Context

PagerDuty runs on reliability. The company that keeps the internet’s incident response running expects the same uptime from its events. When PagerDuty brings its customers and teams together in San Francisco, the production layer has to perform like their platform: invisible when it works, unacceptable when it doesn’t.

The Goal

Deliver a polished, broadcast-grade event experience for both the in-room audience and the remote stream. Keep executive presenters comfortable, keep the run of show tight, and give the marketing team clean recorded assets they could reuse the moment the event wrapped.

The Challenge

The venue was The Mint, a historic San Francisco landmark with none of the infrastructure a broadcast assumes. No house power plan, no production internet, freight elevators that failed mid load-in. The production had to bring its own backbone into a protected building, hold a multi-room footprint with main stage and breakout sessions, and keep a CEO fireside chat and full conference agenda on the rails.

The Production

Argus HD fielded a senior crew with an engineer-in-charge, technical director, shaded multi-camera package, an LED wall main stage, and dedicated audio. Program switching delivered IMAG for the room and a directed broadcast cut, with graphics and speaker support integrated into a single run of show. Redundant encoding protected the feed end to end. Every session was recorded program-plus-ISO for post.

The Outcome

The show ran clean from doors to strike. PagerDuty’s team put it best in their own words after the show: a crew that “always seems to roll with the punches.” The engagement is a repeat: Argus HD has produced PagerDuty on Tour in San Francisco across multiple years and produces for PagerDuty in New York, with full session edits and a sizzle reel delivered after each show.

Production Snapshot
