LIVEHOTEL A/V PRODUCTION/ EVENT // NEW YORK
Hotel ballrooms in Manhattan are busy, tightly scheduled spaces. Load-in windows are short, freight elevators are shared and the in-house A/V team is often already on site. Argus HD works from our Midtown office on West 29th Street, so our crew can scout your hotel, meet the banquet team and plan the room before the day.

Why Argus HD
Most New York hotels have an exclusive or preferred in-house A/V provider. That does not stop you bringing your own production team, but it does change the plan. Many hotels charge a patch or tie-in fee to connect outside equipment to the house sound system, and some require that rigging and power work is done by their own crew.
We find out these rules early. We ask the hotel for its A/V and vendor policy, confirm what the house team will supply and what we bring, and build the quote around it, so there are no surprise fees on the hotel invoice.
In the room, we handle stage A/V, projection and LED walls, lighting and audio, and we film and live stream the program for people who cannot attend. Typical events include investor and analyst days, awards dinners, sales kickoffs, board meetings and product briefings for the New York press.

WHAT WE DO
What changes when the event is in a New York hotel, and how we plan for it.
Manhattan hotels book freight elevators and loading docks in tight slots. We confirm the dock time, elevator access and route to the ballroom with the hotel in advance.
We work alongside the hotel's in-house A/V team and agree who supplies what, including any patch fee, power drops and internet for the stream.
Many Midtown ballrooms have low ceilings and pillars. We choose screens, camera positions and lighting that fit the room rather than fighting it.
Our New York office is on West 29th Street, so site visits, rehearsals and early calls do not depend on travel.
Argus HD
New York events often carry high stakes: investors in the room, press in the back row and executives flying in for one morning. We plan for that pressure with a rehearsal, a clear run of show and backups for anything that goes to air.
Teleprompter, confidence monitors and timed walk-ons so leaders can focus on the message.
Bonded internet and a backup encoder when the hotel network is shared with hundreds of guests.
Clean feeds and fast edits for media, investor relations and internal channels.
A fixed, line-item quote that includes the hotel's own A/V charges we know about up front.

FAQ
Usually, yes. Most hotels allow outside production companies, but many charge a patch or tie-in fee and some require their own crew for rigging or power. We get the hotel’s vendor policy before we quote.
As early as possible. Manhattan hotels schedule loading docks and freight elevators for every event in the building, so we confirm a time slot with the hotel when the date is set.
Yes. Our New York office is at 214 W. 29th St in Manhattan, so we can visit the hotel, meet the banquet and A/V teams and run rehearsals locally.
Yes. We bring our own encoding and bonded internet so the stream does not depend on the hotel’s guest network, and we can send it to several platforms at once.
Investor and analyst days, awards dinners, sales kickoffs, board and leadership meetings, press briefings and hybrid conferences.
After a 15-minute scoping call we send a fixed, line-item quote. It lists our crew and equipment and notes any hotel charges, such as patch fees, that we expect.
