Tim Kay is a master craftsman in the event and video production industry. With over two decades of experience, Tim has established himself as one of the most talented and respected professionals in the field.

His journey began at the age of 18, when he was accepted into a highly competitive internship program with the San Francisco Giants and 49ers, where he trained and worked under some of the most successful directors in the live sports television industry. This opportunity was just the start of his impressive career, as he went on to work on national events such as the World Series, NBA All-Star Games, and the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

With a passion for the film industry, Tim Kay’s journey took him to Hollywood, where he further honed his skills and gained invaluable experience in cinema. Surrounded by the best in the business, including Academy Award-winning cinematographers and top-tier producers, Tim continued to build his expertise and reputation as a leading professional in the field.

Seeing the writing on the wall with the emergence of livestreaming and events, Tim transitioned his expertise to event A/V. He has produced a portion of Google I/O, Google’s largest developer conference, when it transitioned to a digital-only experience, and has also worked with Fortune 100 companies such as Microsoft and Salesforce, to name just a few.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Tim’s well-rounded background and wealth of experience make him one of the most sought-after event and broadcast production producers in the industry. Whether working on high-end livestreams or major events, Tim consistently delivers results that exceed expectations and solidify his position as a leader in the field.

MARC GAMBOA

Marc Gamboa’s creative skills are a key factor in his success as a production professional. With over two decades of experience working with renowned companies such as the Blue Man Group, NBC Universal, Scripps Networks, Swedish Broadcast (SVT), MTV, VH1, and many other top broadcast TV shows and networks, Marc has developed a strong sense of what works and what doesn’t in production. He has a unique ability to identify creative solutions to complex problems, and has a reputation for pushing the boundaries of conventional production methods.

Marc’s creative skills are further demonstrated in his role as a team leader at PSAV, where he was responsible for overseeing events and ensuring client satisfaction. In this role, he used his creative vision to design events that were not only efficient and well-organized, but also visually stunning and memorable. His ability to combine his technical expertise with his creative vision is what sets him apart as a production professional and makes him a valuable asset to any team.

Moreover, Marc’s passion for rescue animals and his compassionate nature also inform his creative vision. This perspective is evident in his loving relationship with his rescue dog Milo, who brings joy to the everyone on the Argus team!

JEFF MCGINNIS

Chief Engineer

Jeff McGinnis has been working in video production in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than twenty years. A graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications, Jeff got his start shooting and editing videos for Pen-TV, the Midpeninsula Community Media Center, and Millbrae Community Television. He has since gone on to work with clients such as Google, the Discovery Channel, the Golden State Warriors, and the San Jose Sharks, providing live broadcasting and streaming services for their major events.

Jeff is married with one child and enjoys chess, improv theater, and reading. One of his many dreams is to be a contestant on Jeopardy! one day.
