Executive interviews, customer stories and thought leadership filmed with two camera coverage, broadcast lighting and clean audio. Shot in our South San Francisco studio or at your office, by a crew that has directed thousands of people on camera.
Fortune 100 leadership, championship organizations and the fastest moving names in the Bay Area have sat down with an Argus HD crew.
An interview lives or dies on what your subject actually says. Beautiful lighting will not rescue a flat answer, and a nervous executive reads as nervous no matter how sharp the camera is.
Argus HD builds the whole production around that problem. We shape the questions before the shoot, direct the conversation on the day, and keep the room small and calm so people forget the camera is running. The lighting, the audio and the two camera coverage are simply the floor.
We work from our studio at 432 North Canal St in South San Francisco and film on location across the city and the wider Bay Area. Your team shows up, sits down and talks. We handle the rest.
Every format below is quoted line by line after a short scoping call, so you know exactly what the shoot day covers before you approve it.
Sit down interviews with founders, C suite and board members for investor updates, brand films and press. Composed framing, a controlled background and direction that keeps every answer on message.
Real customers explaining the problem you solved, in their own words. Built to convert on a landing page, inside a sales deck and across paid social.
Longer conversations that position your team as the people worth listening to, cut into one hero film plus a library of short clips your marketing team can publish for months.
Employees talking honestly about the work and the culture. This is the footage that makes a careers page believable instead of generic.
Leadership messages recorded properly for distributed teams. Clear audio, readable captions and a teleprompter on the days the wording has to be exact.
A dedicated interview bay at your event. We run subjects through on a schedule and deliver usable clips before the show closes.
Multi camera podcast recording with every voice on its own audio channel, so each episode cuts cleanly and sounds like a studio rather than a meeting room.
Press junkets and satellite media tours with a clean broadcast look and feeds prepared for the outlets receiving them.
Subjects in different cities recorded at full quality on their own end, with a producer directing live so you are never editing around a bad connection.
Our studio at 432 North Canal St is built for interviews. It is pre lit, soundproofed and ready the moment your subject walks in, which removes the two things that most often go wrong on location. Uncontrolled sound and unpredictable light.
If a quote does not mention these four things, you are being sold a camera operator rather than an interview production.
A wide and a tight angle rolling at once so your edits are invisible. A rambling answer can be cut to the one strong sentence without a visible jump.
A soft key that flatters real faces, clean separation from the background, and a set that looks intentional instead of like a spare conference room.
A lavalier and a boom recorded separately with a backup recorder rolling. If one channel fails, your interview is still perfectly usable.
Someone off camera asking real follow up questions, holding the eye line steady and telling your subject when an answer landed. This is the part most crews skip.
The gap between an interview that convinces and one that gets quietly shelved is rarely the camera. It is whether the crew knew how to run the room.
Argus HD is an integrated team, not freelancers stitched together at the last minute. The same producers and operators who run corporate video, live events and broadcast for Fortune 100 clients every week are the ones sitting in on your interview day.
You get one point of contact, a fixed line item quote after a 15 minute scoping call, and a crew that has already worked inside the offices and venues you are asking about.
Four stages, one producer, no gaps between them. This is the same workflow behind every corporate video and live broadcast we deliver in San Francisco.
A 15 minute call to agree who is being interviewed, what the video has to prove and where it will live. You leave the call with a fixed line item quote.
We write the question set with you, share the themes with your subjects ahead of time, scout the location or book the studio, and lock a schedule everyone can keep.
Cameras, lighting and audio are set before your first subject arrives. An off camera interviewer runs the conversation while a producer listens for the soundbites you came for.
Selects first, then a full edit with color, sound mix and captions, followed by the short versions your team will actually publish.
An interview is only useful once it lands in the formats your team actually publishes. Every quote spells out the deliverables before you sign it.
Pricing depends on scope, crew size, locations and post production needs. A single subject interview in our studio with one finished edit sits at the light end. A full day with six executives, two camera coverage, a teleprompter and a set of cutdowns sits at the other.
After a 15 minute scoping call we provide a fixed, line item quote so you can budget with confidence, no surprises.
A single subject interview usually needs one to two hours on site once the crew is set. A day with several executives runs a half day or a full day. We confirm the exact schedule during prep so nobody is left waiting in a hallway.
Yes. We build the question set with you so the answers land on message, and our interviewer asks natural follow ups on the day to get the soundbites you actually need.
Yes. We film on location across San Francisco and the Bay Area and bring all lighting, audio and camera gear. We scout the room first so the space we choose holds up on camera and stays quiet enough to record in.
Our South San Francisco studio is 400 square feet, 20 by 20 with 11 foot ceilings, soundproofed and pre lit with DMX key, fill and highlight lighting on a smooth cyclorama. There is a private green room for talent, and it comfortably holds three people on camera.
Four to six subjects is a comfortable full day with a proper reset between each one. We can go higher at a conference where the interviews are shorter and the set stays up between subjects.
When the wording has to be exact, yes, and we supply the prompter and the operator. For most interviews we recommend against one, because scripted answers read as scripted.
That is normal and we plan for it. We keep the room small, open with easy questions, tell people when an answer worked, and quietly give them a second pass at anything that came out flat.
Yes. We record remote and hybrid interviews at full quality on the subject’s own end with a producer directing live, so you are never editing around a dropped connection.
A finished hero edit with color, sound mix and captions, short cutdowns for social, vertical versions and a full transcript. Formats and aspect ratios are agreed before the shoot, not after it.
Two to four weeks gives us room to develop the questions and brief your subjects properly. Faster turnarounds are often possible depending on scope, so tell us the date and we will be straight with you.
Book a 15 minute scoping call. We will help shape the questions, tell you whether the studio or your own office is the better room, and send a fixed quote the same week.
