Podcast Stage at GitHub Universe Fort Mason Center, San Francisco
Headline
Outdoor broadcast-grade podcast stage at a global developer conference, featuring a live-streamed conversation with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on TBPN.
The Challenge
Build and operate a broadcast-quality podcast stage under a tent at Fort Mason. Outdoor, multi-camera, tight on timing, with a guest lineup that included Microsoft’s CEO on a show being livestreamed to a global audience.
What Argus Did
Engineered a three-camera robotic broadcast set with full broadcast control positions, under an outdoor tent rated for Fort Mason’s exposure to wind and marine conditions.
Ran the on-stage production for TBPN, the Silicon Valley business show, across both show days, including the live-streamed Satya Nadella episode filmed on-site.
Delivered full PGM records to the client’s media workflow within days of the event wrap, supporting post-event content distribution.
Outcome
The show went off cleanly. The TBPN episode recorded at Universe is publicly available, and the production team was invited back into subsequent planning conversations.
Why It Matters
When the guest is a Fortune 10 CEO, and the show is streaming live to the internet, there is no second take. We build broadcast-grade productions that perform on the first run, in conditions (outdoor, temporary infrastructure, tight timing) that most studios are not designed for.
